Description

  • SILVER, WOOD
  • 24cm., 9 1/2 in. high
the otherwise plain tapering cylindrical body later engraved with the Houghton crest below a baron's coronet, wood handle, the underside engraved with the initials 'P / I*P' and scratch weight: '25=5'

Condition

a fairly solid pot but condition is rather worn, marks on body very worn, mark on interior of lid lion passant, the foot wire has a small dent and split, the lid also has a small dent
