  • approximately 230 by 178cm, 183 by 130cm, 218 by 163cm; 7ft. 6in by 5ft. 10in, 6ft by 4ft 3in., 7ft 2in by 5ft 4in.
each panel worked in silk embroidery in Palak style, comprised of joined vertical strips, with the tent entrance panel partially unfinished along the lower edge (3)

Condition

Colours in reality not as pink, but deeper/darker carmine red. All in need of a clean. Very decorative pieces. In order shown in catalogue: Top left - approximately 230 by 178cm, 7ft. 6in by 5ft. 10in; Not lined. Comprised of five joined vertical panels. Some losses and small marks, and visible drawing lines in areas. Top right - approximately 218 by 183cm, 7ft. 2in by 6ft; Not lined. Comprised of four joined vertical panels. Some losses and small marks, and visible drawing lines in areas. Lower left corner - Incompletely worked entrance panel (bottom left corner) approximately 183 by 130cm, 6ft by 4ft 3in. Not lined. Comprised of four joined vertical panels, different widths. The decoration has not been completed and does not extend to the bottom of the panel, which is part of the charm.
