the decoration later, comprising 18 plates painted with vignettes of birds, a plate painted with a shepherdess in a landscape, 3 circular bowls, two ice-pails and covers, a fruit bowl painted with putto figures, a sucrier and cover on a fixed stand, two bottle coolers, seau à liqueur ovale, painted with figures and trophies of war, and a pair of ormolu-mounted candlesticks,
Condition
The ice-pails are lacking liners,
One ice-pail cover has two cracks.
One bottle cooler, seau à liqueur ovale, is lacking its divider, with a firing flaw to a handle.
One plate is cracked with a rim chip.
Another plate has a rim chip.
This lot also includes an additional French porcelain vase, possibly Jacob Petit, not listed in the catalogue entry.
The vase has two chips to foot and a chip to rim, with wear to gilding
