surmounted with a gilt tooled brown leather writing surface, fitted with a frieze drawer, bearing the F. Linke signature to one chute
Condition
Overall in good condition and presentation with the usual minor hairline scratches and minute nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places also consistent with age and atmospheric conditions through the years. Scratches and dents to the leather surface.

Maison Boudet (active late 19th century). This Parisian firm was located at 43, boulevard des Capucines in 1886 and specialized in the retail of high end furniture and objects. From 1908, the firm was located at 8, place Vendome, under the name Boudet Frères et Cie up to 1914.
