Description

  • gold, enamel, porcelain
9,3cm ; 3 5/8 in

Condition

Enamel bottle, there are firing faults rendering the white enamel green at the edges near the gold appliques. Enamel losses to stopper. Porcelain example there is a small chip on the edge of the domed base running under the gold rim which is lacking two 'teeth' and has traces of glue where it has been attached. As this base rim is a different colour to the neck rim I suspect it is later. The stopper does not fit very well.
