Condition

These gelatin silver prints are in generally excellent condition. 'Living Room on the Tracks' - In raking light, two soft creases are visible in the center and lower portions of the image. The margin corners are bumped and the upper left margin corner is creased. This crease does not appear to break the emulsion and intrudes into the image only slightly. The following is annotated in pencil on the reverse: 'printed by,' '8-87' (twice), 'NW 720,' 'PeFG 3 1/2' and 'AICH.' The stamp is annotated 'NW 720' in pencil. 'The Popes and the Last Steam Passenger Train and Living Room on the Tracks' - The following is annotated in pencil on the reverse: '6-95' (twice), 'NW 1648,' and 'PFMXG 3/12.' The stamp is annotated 'NW 1648' in ink.
