Description

carved from bamboo-root, the top with curved roots extending upwards, intertwining with each other naturally, the seal face incised in seal script with two characters probably reading luozai, the bamboo of a rich golden-brown tone

Condition

The seal is in overall good condition with worm holes to the sides and the seal face. There minor chips to the bamboo-roots and extremities. The actual colour is similar to the catalogue illustration.
