Description

of cylindrical form supported on three short feet, the exterior elegantly carved in low relief with an archaistic frieze of three kui dragons, between two key-fret bands encircling the mouth and foot, the wood of a rich chestnut brown tone with an attractive patina

Condition

It has some typical insect holes and age cracks, including a branched star crack to the base with a refilled area of approx. 1.5 by 1.1 cm.
