Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges of the artist's frame, including some hairline craquelure visible under raking light. Under close inspection, there are light and unobtrusive abrasions to the surface of the image. There are several abrasions in the image, visible upon closer inspection: a 5-inch vertical abrasion near the left edge in the center; two approximately 7-inch abrasions in the lower left corner; a 12-inch diagonal abrasion beginning in the white area near the upper right edge that extends into the blue and white striped edge; a 2-inch scratch at the lower right edge; and a 6-inch scratch at the lower right edge. There is a light drip accretion in the lower left corner and in the upper right quadrant, both only visible upon close inspection. Framed in artist's chosen frame.
