This work is in good condition overall. The central cardboard element is collaged between 2 different silk panels. The work is suspended to an acrylic backing by button holes at the two upper corners. There are fine creases and air pockets in the front silk panel in the upper center collaged area, which appears to be original. The front panel of silk is cut along the top and bottom edges, the left and right are selvage edges. The rear panel is cut along the top, left and bottom edges, and the right side a selvage edge. The rear silk panel is more fragile and exhibits several fine scattered tears and minor losses, particularly at the corners and near the edges, which have been reinforced and secured with a transparent fabric backing. The top silk panel is well intact and has some fine scattered creases. Framed under Plexiglas. Additional conservation is suggested by the restorer to further stabilize the work.
