Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The 4 busts are separate from the chairs. There are inherent inconsistencies to the wooden busts, due to the artist's choice of medium, including a few fine surface scratches and some splinters to the wood, with some very minor associated losses. The six chairs exhibit scattered wear with soiling and accretions throughout, due to the found nature of the materials. There is some very minor splitting and wear to the varnish on the wood of the chairs, notably at the bottom of each, and some of the legs are loose.
