Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edges including hairline craquelure at the pull margins, along the edges and minor spots of loss at the corners. The colors are bright and fresh. The surface has been lightly varnished, likely by the artist at the time of execution. In the lower left corner, there is a raised horizontal line that extends approximately 12-inches from the lower left edge and appears to be the result of a repaired tear. In the lower right quadrant there is a minor dent to the canvas and a diagonal abrasion that extends approximately 6-inches. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, the aforementioned dent and areas below it as well as some areas near the abrasion fluoresce darkly and appear to have benefited from restoration. Framed.
