Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edge of the artist's frame. There is evidence of hairline craquelure along the pull margins. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are two ½- inch wide spots in the upper center of the canvas and in the larger haystack that fluoresce darkly and appear to have benefited from light retouching and there are a few scattered pinpoint drip accretions that fluoresce lightly but do not appear to be the result of restoration. Framed in artist's frame.
