Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There appears to be some faint smudging, which is only noticeable under close inspection and appear to be inherent to the artist's working method. There are some stray media accretions along all four lateral sides of the canvas. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Catalogue Note

"One is rewarded for being visually literate and knowing about the culture that this material emerges from, but it's not a game of figuring out how the different references relate to each other. I prefer the idea of "irresolvability." I want my works to have a shifting identity." Carol Bove
