Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. There is very light evidence of light wear and handling along the edges including very minor instances of hairline craquelure at the pull margins. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. There are faint graphite marks visible along the turning edges, possibly from the time of execution. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.

Catalogue Note
“I think there is only one form of greatness for man. If a man can bridge the gap between life and death. I mean, if he can live on after he has died, then maybe he was a great man. To me the only success, the only greatness, is immortality.” James Dean
