Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original, and there are more pink tonalities.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a very small number of minute media accretions towards the centre left of the composition, and two tiny and unobtrusive specks of rubbing to the extreme outer edges; one with associated minor surface loss on the left edge towards the upper left corner, and the second one to the upper edge approximately 40cm. from the upper left corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
