Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although there are fewer yellow undertones to the background and closet and the coat tends more towards cream in the original.
Condition:
Unexamined out of its frame this work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some scattered craquelure the the cupboard and the dress, and a small number of tiny and unobtrusive specks of surface loss towards the centre of the left edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
