The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
Unexamined out of its frame, this work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the mount in several places, and all four edges are slightly deckled. There is one artist's pinhole to the upper left corner tip and the sheet undulates slightly. Close inspection reveals a few short and unobtrusive creases and nicks to the right edge, towards the upper right corner tip. There are a few drying cracks to the thicker area of black impastoed paint, towards the upper right corner.
