Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the backing mount in several places. The left and lower extreme outer edges have some tiny irregularities and the sheet undulates slightly in keeping with the artist's process. Extremely close inspection reveals a spot of fine and unobtrusive craquelure towards the centre of the top edge and to the orange and red pigment towards the centre of the composition.
