Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a small number of extremely minor and unobtrusive rub marks to some of the tips of the protruding elements. There are a number of fine diagonal cracks, notably towards the vertical edges of the work and a few towards the upper edge. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a small spot of fluorescence towards the centre of the composition which appears to be light inpainting.
