the frieze with two short and one long drawer and one dummy drawer, with dummy drawers to the sides
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Old very minor marks, chips, scratches and stains to the top and generally, commensurate with age and normal usage. There is a section to the side of one drawer missing. The inside carcass below the base of the drawers would appear to have been reused. There is a 22 x 11cm. patch to the top and there are some general minor restorations to the veneers and generally including the legs and stretchers with some minor losses to the filler where the cracks have been restored. The bun feet are scuffed and the gilt-brass finials and mounts are slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste.
