each with an ovoid body, painted with insects in flight amongst scattered floral sprays, wood covers; together with a larger famille-verte ginger jar and cover decorated with peacock and flowers

Condition

The pair may be later matched, with one neck wider than the other. The original covers are lost with wood replacements. One jar with three hairline cracks across the foot. Overall good condition with the exception of minor glaze imperfections. The larger jar is in good condition with minor glaze imperfections. The cover was broken and heavily restored.
