the first with ivory handle carved as a bust of Archduke Joseph, Palatine of Hungary (1776-1847), reeded steel mount, blank matrix, 7cm, 2 3/4 in; the second French silver-gilt with cast figure of a knight on onyx plinth, blank matrix, Louis-Alexandre Bruneau, Paris, circa 1840-1850, 6.5cm, 2 ½ in; a white chalcedony example with scrolled gold mount, the matrix with arms below a princely crown, 5.5cm, 2 1/8 in; and a scrolled silver-gilt fob seal, the oval amethyst matrix engraved with a coat of arms below a continental baron’s coronet, 4cm, 1 5/8 in
