Condition
There are two horizontal cracks visible at the very edge of the lower left and lower right corners, some very minor frame abrasions to extreme edges and some minor craquelure to the figure carrying the sack and the gentleman with a top hat.
Ultraviolet light reveals an opaque varnish; there appear to be no signs of retouching.
Held in a gilt composite frame.
