Condition
In overall very good conserved condition. Old very minor marks chips and scratches commensurate with age and use. There are some minor patches to the veneer. The quality of the mahogany is good and so is the quality of the casting and chasing of the gilt-bronze mounts. There is a minor lose section of the stem on the front panel which can easily be repined and some minor air cracks and the odd break but these are hardly noticeable. The back panel has an inverted pear shaped patch and has some scuff, paint residue and uneven colour and would benefit from a repolish according to taste.
