Tiny enamel flake to front of helmet. Otherwise in good condition.

A figure of Venus, similarly seated on rockwork, wearing sandals is illustrated in Ralf-Jürgen Sattler, Thüringer Porzellan des 18. and 19. Jahrhunderts, p. 82, cat. no. 29. A similar example from the Property of the Estate of Roy Vail was sold at Parke-Bernet Galleries New York, April 14, 1980, lot 95, attributed to Kloster-Veilsdorf or Wallendorf.
