The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches due to age and use. There is an horizontal shrinkage crack on the fall front door. A vertical one on a lower front door and another one on the right hand lateral side. There are some losses to the marquetry and to the veneer as visible on the illustration. There is a lifting to the veneer on the left hand lateral side. The varnish is rubbed on a few places on the fall front door. The key is later. There was originally a safe box inside the lower part. The inner of the fall front door is in good condition with a nice marquetry. The gilding of the mounts is tarnished. The mounts of both front feet are probably later. The marble top is in good condition.
