Condition
The illustration is accurate.
Good overall condition despite the inevitable minor scratches and marks due to age and use.
As visible on the illustration, there are some losses to the veneer.
There is an horizontal shrinkage crack on each lateral side.
The gilding of the mounts is tarnished but the chasing is nice.
There are the usual minor scratches to the marble top.
The marble top has to be restored.
