  • Agate
the darker-brown inclusion on one side skilfully carved to portray a stylised bird on a branch, the reverse plain save for very minor russet inclusions reminiscent of blowing leaves

Condition

The snuff bottle is in overall good condition with just barely visible nibbles to the rim and foot. The catalogue illustration is redder than the actual colour of the stone.
