the darker-brown inclusion on one side skilfully carved to portray a fisherman in a boat, depicted right at the moment of catching a fish

Condition

There is a short crack emanating from the rim, to the unillustrated side of the bottle. There is a minor nibbling to the mouth. There are also slight natural veins to the stone. The catalogue illustration is redder than the actual colour of the stone. Please note there is now a replacement stopper. Images are available upon request.
