the cylindrical brushpot with thick straight sides, the base centred with a central plug, the dark brown wood covered with characteristic short golden streaks

Condition

The brushpot is generally in good condition. There are some typical surface wear and minor chips to the mouth and foot, the largest measuring approx. 0.6 by 1 cm to the foot. There are also age cracks, as consistent with age, running from the aperture on the base especially.
