the crab grasping pondweed picked out in openwork from the darker sections of the stone with plants and shells on the reverse, threaded with a coral bead on a string; the parrot on a prunus branch between bats carved from the natural dark brown inclusions, the reverse with peaches and a bat with outstretched wings

Condition

Both pendants are in overall good condition. There are minor nicks to the fragile extremities of the crab pendant. The catalogue illustration is a tinge redder than the actual colour of the stones.
