Description
- porcelain and wood stand
modelled seated with one leg raised in a variation of lalitasana, the left arm supporting a ruyi sceptre, wearing long robes opening at the chest to reveal an ornate necklace, the face with a meditative expression, the neatly combed hair draped over by a hood, the reverse impressed with an indistinct square seal, wood stand
Condition
There is an old restoration to the end of the ruyi scepter as well as to the toes of the figure's right foot (showing on the illustration in the catalogue). There is a chip to the tip-end of her left hand's fingers. Otherwise the figure is in good condition.
