Description

  • wood
constructed with a straight crestrail above two openwork scrolls, the back and arms composed of slender vertical spindles, the seat with a double-board floating-panel within a moulded-edge frame, the legs running through the seat frame and joined by square-sectioned humpback-shaped stretchers and spindled struts, the wood of a rich honey-brown colour

Condition

There is a break on the front rail which has been patched with fabric (showing on the illustration in the catalogue). The front right foot has been broken and re-affixed with a vertical wedged section that has chipped off and is now missing (also showing on the photo). Otherwise the chair is generally in good condition.
