Description

  • jade
of tubular form, the upper section incised with an aporcryphal Qianlong mark, the end with a wide flared ring incised with an inscription and securing a thick lock of hairs, the stone of a pale celadon colour

Condition

The jade is in overall good condition with just minor nicks to the tip. The flared 'ring' at the end has possibly been stabilised to the tubular handle and there is also a stabilised breakage to the ring.
