Description

  • pottery
with conical sides rounding up towards the rim, covered inside and out with a rich brown glaze and liberally splashed in tawny tones in imitation of tortoiseshell, the glaze ending neatly above the knife-pared foot

Condition

The bowl is in overall good condition except for a restored flake approx 1 cm to the interior rim. There is some residue around the rim, possibly from a previously mounted metal ring.
