Description

  • ceramic
with shallow rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a lipped rim, carved around the exterior with overlapping petals with raised central ribs resembling a lotus flower, applied overall with a bluish-green glaze, save for the neatly cut footring left unglazed revealing a greyish ware burnt orange in the firing

Condition

There is a small firing speck to the exterior of the rim, some light wear and expected scratches to the interior, otherwise the dish is in very good condition. The bluish-green glaze is particularly attractive.
