Description

the body sweeping to a tall slender neck and lipped rim, all on a short rounded foot, with prunus branches reserved in the biscuit against an opaque dark brown glaze dripping into the mouth and stopping short of the buff-coloured foot

Condition

The vase is in very good overall condition. There are some typical firing imperfections including a 0.7 cm gap in the glaze on the reverse and further minor occasional minute faults, all consistent with the type.
