vividly painted against a turquoise ground with a long gnarled branch of vines suspending clusters of purplish-red grapes, the dish centred with an incised apocryphal 'Dayazhai' horizontal mark and apocryphals qianlong yulan zhibao oval seal and yawan zhencang mark on the base

Condition

The dish is in very good overall condition. There is some occasional light rubbing to the enamels or pinholes but overall these have been well preserved. There are a few minor flaws or specks to the rim, original to the firing. The actual colours are somewhat warmer and richer compared to the catalogue illustration.
