Description

  • porcelain
delicately potted with shallow rounded sides resting on a short foot, applied overall save for the mouthrim and base with an even rich copper-red glaze, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark

Provenance

Sotheby's London, 15th June 1999, lot 61 (part lot).

Condition

The overall condition is excellent with only some typical minor surface scratches. There is a small patch of lighter tone on the exterior. The actual colour is slightly more brownish than the catalogue illustration.
