Description

  • porcelain
well potted with deep rounded sides resting on a short foot, the exterior delicately painted with a continuous scene depicting gnarled and overhanging branches issuing clusters of peaches and leaves next to lingzhi blooms and jagged rockwork, the tranquil scene detailed with lotus leaves, buds and blooms issuing from a pond, all picked out in soft shaded tones of pastel enamels, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

Condition

The overall condition is very good with only some occasional minor iron spots, burst bubbles, surface scratches and glaze wear especially to the interior. The enamels have generally been well preserved.
