stoutly potted with deep everted sides supported on a broad ribbed and slightly splayed stem, deftly decorated around the exterior with eight large lotus head borne on a continuous meandering stem, each supporting one of the bajixiang ('Eight Buddhist Emblems'), the interior picked out with a single shou character forming a central medallion, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

There are some light scratches to the interior glaze and very minor fritting to the mouthrim, but overall the stembowl is in very good condition.
