Condition
The canvas has been lined and there is a circa 29 by 10cm patch on the reverse. There is a pattern of hairline craquelure throughout the composition, more pronounced in the upper half of the painting surface, and a circa 23cm vertical tear repair is visible in the sky in the upper right corner. Ultra-violet light reveals signs of retouching along the aforementioned tear and other small scattered spots in the sky. The picture is in otherwise good condition and ready to hang.
The picture is presented in a decorative gilt frame.
