Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is a pattern of hairline craquelure throughout the composition, notably in the sky, and some paint rubbing along the framing edges. Ultra-violet light reveals very minor scattered spots of retouching and some areas of old residual varnish. The painting is in otherwise good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
