Condition
Oil on paper laid on board. Four old diagonal folds are faintly visible at the four corners of the paper. There is a small area of paint flaking in the bottom right corner, and there is minor paint rubbing towards the left edge. Under ultra-violet light the signature fluoresces quite visibly, possibly associated to retouching or strengthening. There is no other visible sign of retouching.
The painting is in otherwise good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a gilt frame.
