Description

  • wool pile
  • approximately 346 by 233cm; 11ft. 4in., 7ft. 8in.
the plain pale salmon field with an ivory and pale blue medallion with a central flowerhead, feathery leaves and flowering vines, similar spandrels, with flowering vine and palmette border

Condition

Dense 2mm pile overall, lower in corners of orange field in lower half between the corner spandrels. Good colour match tonally with the catalogue photograph. In reality the colour is not dark in the lower right corner, but evenly balanced and is lighter at one end, as visible in the photograph. There is subltle abrash that runs across the width and along the length. The original side cords are loose in sections. The end fringes are trimmed and overlocked. Some surface dirt spots in one corner. Would benefit from a clean. Attractive small carpet.
