the dark indigo main field with floral medallions, bats and floral sprigs, with an ivory and pale blue floral border

Condition

Overall measurements: 283cm across the top, 280cm across the bottom, 353cm along left side, 351cm along right side Generally even 5mm pile overall. Some small areas within floral motifs down to knotbars for example lower right corner. Even oxidisation to tope colour used in scrolls in the spandrels. Both ends with vestiges of cotton fringing and overlocked. Spot areas of repiling around outer edges on all four sides. Original sidecords. An attractive carpet in good overall usable condition.
