Condition

Overall measurements: 183cm across the top, 184cm across the bottom, 259cm along left side, 256cm along right side Generally even 2-3mm pile overall, with some areas down to knot-heads in areas, for example to top left and right hand corners of main fields. Small areas down to foundation in areas, for example in lower border, and in the centre of the top border, to the cream colour within cartouche within inner border. Also within blue weave on far left side of carpet, visible in the photograph. Minor spot areas of foundation on outer edges, and minor repiles to edges. Both ends with teased foundation cotton fringing, both ends overlocked. Both sides reovercast. Side cords loose at top of right hand edge and in centre of lower edge. Lovely colouration, flexible handle. Good size.
