Condition

Overall measurements: framed approximately 83 by 73cm; textile visible approximately 59 by 49cm; 2ft. 9in., 2ft. 5in. and 1ft. 11in., 1ft. 7in. Mounted within later glazed frame. The edges of the fragment of textile are not visible as covered by the mount. Course threads against linen ground. Minor oxidisation to the browns in areas. Inset rectangular section in lower left corner (23 by 8.5cm), with horizontal join worked in dark visible threads, and vertical join being more discreet. Could be due to having been part of garment in past. Very decorative panel.
