Condition
The canvas has been strip-lined along all four tacking edges. There is a pattern of hairline craquelure overall. Under ultra-violet light, areas of old residual varnish fluoresce unevenly making the surface quite difficult to read; a number of thin strokes and small scattered spots of retouching are visible overall and there may be some further retouchings which are not clearly visible possibly along the edges.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
